Changes in version (September 5, 2008)

SMTP Service Changes

A few versions back, logging support was added for CSV (Comma separated values) files. This log is created by default in the ..\Alligate\Logs folder and is a daily file with the extension .csv.

If you want to turn off CSV logging for some reason, you can set this in the registry here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidOak\Alligate\Settings\LogCSV  where 0 = off and 1 = on.

A user reported problems when a German locale was used where commas where used in formatting the decimal numbers in the logs. This made it impossible to import into Excel or graphing programs.

We added a new registry setting to control this here:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SolidOak\Alligate\Settings\LogCSVDelim = ,   A comma is used by default, however this could be changed to another delimiter like ; (semi-colon).

Alligate Control Panel Fixes

Under certain conditions, an exception error was displayed when changing records when Alias domains were defined. This has been fixed. It could have also caused the alias domains file for a routing definition to not load into the SMTP gateway service properly.
