Upgrading From a Previous Version

To upgrade an existing version of Alligate to the latest version, the following procedure is the safest and fastest way to perform this operation.

 

1.Make sure that any Alligate applications are closed.

 

2.Open up the WINDOWS service manager and manually stop all Alligate services. They will all start with 'Alligate' and will be indexed in order.

 

3.Close the Windows service manager.

 

4.Run the setup program for the version you want to install.

 

5.Open up the Alligate Gateway Configuration application.

 

6.Start all Alligate services.
