When using Alligate behind a firewall, you must give Alligate access to our servers to download MXRate and country code databases. Alligate uses standard HTTP port 80 and FTP port 21. It also uploads your blocking data via FTP to our processing server so your data can be merged into the MXRate database. No personal or compromising data is ever collected. We only collect the IP address of the sender's server and a numerical score which tells us the disposition of the message that the sender sent to you.
